This delightful Pinot Blanc originates from plots that are about 15 km after Colmar, in the North, near the famous Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. The 3 plots in Rorschwihr are on dark, chalky soils on heavy loess rock with a layer of deep sandy & clay soil. All the vines are on East & South East expositions & on gentle slopes.

Intense fruit forward nose, with a youthful expression of peach, quince & vanilla. Fresh & soft on the palate. A very delicate rounded wine with discrete, refined acidity & a persistent fruit finish.

Perfect with onion tart, pâtés, quenelles, chicken vol-au-vent, soufflés (with cheese or potatoes) & green vegetables.
