Description

Imagine pouring yourself a glass of this incredible wine (if you buy wine regularly from Glug, that'll be all the easier for you) – it's like a deep straw yellow masterpiece. As you take your first sip, you'll be greeted by a symphony of intense aromas – juicy pear, warm brioche, the sweetness of white peach, and a zesty burst of citrus. And when it dances on your palate, you'll experience this round, rich sensation that's like a treasure trove of complex fruit and savory wonders. This fantastic journey comes to a close with a satisfying, mineral-kissed finish that lingers on.

The grapes take a 12-hour skin vacation after picking, soaking up all those amazing flavors. Then comes the gentle press, dividing the precious liquid. Sixty percent of it heads into stainless-steel vats, while the other forty percent gets cozy in 3000-liter old oak casks. Fermentation happens at temperatures between 18-20°C, adding to the symphony of flavors. After that, it's off to the oak for a nine-month hangout with fine lees. The large casks and this extended mingling time give the wine a burst of complexity while keeping its original character intact.

The Vineyards are perched on the gentle slopes of Pressano, about 400 meters above sea level, soaking up the sun from a south-western angle. The soil here is deep, rich, and packed with minerals, thanks to ancient marine deposits from a whopping 240 million years ago. The vines are trained using the Guyot and pergola methods, with a density of 7,000 and 3,000 - 4,000 vines per hectare, respectively.
